Does this make me look fat? Ask the mirror

Brick and mortar retailing could be taking a page from Facebook and other social networking sites if one digital design company has its way. IconNicholson introduced this past week an interactive mirror that would allow shoppers to interact with friends and family around the world.
The mirror, unveiled at the National Retail Federation’s BIG show in New York, is equipped with a camera and connects to the customer’s cellphone to send live video to other people. Then she (or he, if he is of the metrosexual variety) can get feedback from friends about their potential purchases.
This could be great news for husbands and boyfriends. No longer would you be dragged into the women’s department and forced to hang around and give opinions on clothes. On the other hand, it might mean much longer trips to the mall if your wife or girlfriend really likes to gab with their friends.
