Taxi rides in Mexico are porno-rific

The best thing that can happen when you hail a cab anywhere in America is that you’ll get to your destination in reasonable safety in a minimal time. Most likely, though, you’ll get the pleasure of shelling out $10 or $20 for a ride in a stinking cab that leaves you hanging on to the Jesus straps for dear life.
Not so in Mexico. Apparently their idea of service is a little different because some of the cabbies show porn DVDs during the ride. Now admittedly this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but at least they’re trying something to bring back the romance and majesty of riding in a cab; or maybe they’re just looking to get on HBO’s “Taxi Cab Confessions.”
But it seems that the Mexican government is cracking down on this practice, so if you want to get a taste of this unique luxury, you better book your trip to Mexico right away.
